2026 - Gatorade® Manager
Reports To: Designated Paragon Sports Marketing, LLC (“Paragon”) Representative
Pay Range: $15.50 to $25.00
SUMMARY:
As a Gatorade® Manager, you will be an employee of Paragon Sports Marketing, LLC a wholly-owned subsidiary of Playfly, LLC ("Paragon"), which manages the Gatorade® Sports Program (the “Gatorade® Program”). In this position, you will oversee the Gatorade® Program at the University to which you are assigned, and act as a liaison between Paragon and the University, which includes becoming knowledgeable of all aspects of Gatorade’s® involvement in the Gatorade® Program, being available to answer questions of camp directors, coaches and parents of camp attendees, and assisting in gathering camp projections and communicating with Camp Directors.
WORKSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Existing relationship within university or athletic department preferred (Assistant Athletic Trainers, Graduate Assistants, or Interns)
- Able to work part-time at the beginning and end of the summer and full-time while camps are in session
- Display strong public speaking skills, sound organizational skills, and computer literacy
- Demonstrate strong people skills and an ability to manage a staff of employees
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and compelling customer service attitude
- Follow directions and meet deadlines
- Display a dependable, strong work ethic
- Able to work in a team environment
EXPERIENCE:
Previous staff or program management experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Attend all required training
- Maintain direct communication with Camp Directors regarding all matters affecting the Gatorade® Program
- Deliver keynote/athlete message on first day of each camp
- Manage all Gatorade® Program employees on your assigned campus
- Handle recruitment and on-site training
- Coordinate summer employees' applications, schedules, timesheets, and paychecks
- Ensure Gatorade® Program employees are adhering to the expectations and policies set out by Paragon
- Manage the shipping process, which includes:
- Receiving the inventory of products, premiums, and equipment and determining storage location(s)
- Setting up a delivery date with the Gatorade® distributor
- Coordinating unloading supplies from from the truck and verifying correct quantities received
- Packing equipment at the end of the summer and scheduling a pick-up time and location
- Manage the allocation and distribution of Gatorade® product and premiums by:
- Contacting camp directors to determine number of hydration stations and exact locations
- Verifying camp session logistics, including break times, field locations, and athlete message time
- Serving correct products at correct times and correct temperatures
- Ensuring that quantities of supplies allocated by Gatorade® have been distributed for each sport
- Maintain direct communications with Paragon; contact Paragon if any issues arise affecting Gatorade’s® involvement in summer sports camps; trouble-shoot and provide ongoing evaluation of the Gatorade® Program
- Meet deadlines for all tasks and duties assigned by Paragon
- Be available to answer questions of Camp Directors, parents, and camp athletes
- Evaluate camp program and provide feedback by:
- Completing and returning survey at end of camp program
- Distributing and collecting camp director evaluation forms
- Perform additional tasks and duties as may be assigned and/or needed to execute the Gatorade® Program
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required; Athletic Training Certificate preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to: lift and carry 10-15 pounds, ride in a golf cart or gator vehicle, and move about assigned university campus, in and around sometimes crowded work areas, and to summer sports camps sites
