2025 - Assistant Gatorade® Manager

Pay Range:                          $13.50 to $24.00

SUMMARY:

As an Assistant Gatorade® Manager, you will be employed by Paragon Marketing Group, LLC (“Paragon”), which manages the Gatorade® Sports Program (the “Gatorade® Program”).  In this position, you will assist the Gatorade® Manager in their duties before and during Gatorade® Summer Sports Camps, which includes becoming knowledgeable of all aspects of Gatorade’s® involvement in the Gatorade® Program, being available to answer questions of camp directors, coaches and parents of camp attendees, assisting in gathering camp projections, and assisting the Gatorade® Manager in acting as a liaison between Paragon and the University to which you are assigned. 

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS include the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Attend all required training
  • Assist Gatorade® Manager in executing the Gatorade® Program
  • Recruit Team Leaders
  • Actively participate in the on-site training of Team Leaders
  • Deliver keynote/athlete message on first day of each camp
  • Assist Gatorade® Manager in managing the entire staff of Team Leaders on campus
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of all Gatorade® Summer Camp items
  • Manage the allocation and distribution of Gatorade® product and premiums
  • Assist in evaluating Gatorade® Program
  • Maintain direct communication with Paragon
  • Contact Paragon if any issues arise affecting Gatorade’s® involvement in summer sports camps
  • Trouble-shoot and provide ongoing evaluation of camp program
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as may be assigned and/or needed to execute the Gatorade® Program

WORKSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Existing relationship with university or athletic department preferred (Assistant Athletic Trainers, Graduate Assistants, or Interns)
  • Able to work part-time at the beginning and end of the summer and full-time while camps are in session
  • Display strong public speaking skills, sound organizational skills, and computer literacy
  • Able to develop and maintain a healthy and professional relationship with the Gatorade® Manager
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and compelling customer service attitude
  • Demonstrate strong people skills and ability to manage a staff of employees
  • Follow directions and meet deadlines
  • Display a dependable, strong work ethic
  • Able to work in a team environment

EXPERIENCE:

Previous staff or program management experience preferred

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required; Athletic Training Certificate preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to: lift and carry 10-15 pounds, ride in a golf cart or gator vehicle, and move about assigned university campus, in and around sometimes crowded work areas, and to summer sports camps sites
